The George Centre is a modern day, short-stay private hospital located in central Gregory Hills, Sydney, within the newly developing specialist medical precinct on the corner of Gregory Hills Drive and The Hermitage Way.

This multi-level construction features branched off specialist practice offices, and an open space foyer/waiting room across ground level. All upper levels consist of state-of-the-art operating theaters, small practice rooms and short-stay patient areas.

Project

VISIONCHART’s design and projects team assisted our client in the supply, CNC precision cutting and installation of Acoustic Solutions throughout the hospital.

The ground level ceilings feature a large display of 500+ Acoustic Fins® in a deep blue ‘Pinnacle’. Stretching across the main waiting areas, these Fins® will absorb all reverberated noise in the open space and provide a calm aesthetic to the area.

All specialist offices and upper-levels feature a reception desk area, with CNC precision cut Acoustic panels fitted into the nook of all desks; In a calm and cool ‘Savoye’ colour, creating some stillness for the medical receptionists.
