Project

Providing the right tools to our client for a forward thinking educational space was key to facilitate and encourage agile learners.

A modern education has need for functionality, agility and an enjoyable learning experience.

Students need to feel engaged and supported in learning, in a space that provides the back bone for these core needs.

In open space learning, as Santa Sophia’s 5 levels are built, noise was a major concern.

Combating noise is a must to ensure students get an engaging experience without distraction. Our team supplied and installed 7+km of Composition Acoustics across all 5 levels in every learning space. With a curated palette of neutral colours: Fawn, Charcoal, Silver, Avocado, Octane, Spearmint,  Theatre; each level features a consistent one to two colour theme, to create calmness without an overbearing visual space. The acoustics will reduce up to 40% of noise.

In every classroom, Lumière Glassboards have been installed in pair with every Smart TV to combine a hands on and digital experience. The opportunity for any student to walk up to a Glass writing board and contribute to the learning process, by simply writing with a marker, is empowering. At VISIONCHART, we call it Visual Democracy™.

With these two learning tools as a central consistent feature in all classrooms, students and teachers are better able to collaborate on, engage and enjoy the learning process.

Spotlight: Cubby House – A Hub For Early Learning

A key feature in the kindergarden zone of Santa Sophia.

The Cubby House supports the transition from home life to school life, giving a playful edge to the education space.

A space for early learners to socialise, play and above all enjoy learning. The structure built by our client has been inset into the classroom, all exterior and interior walls covered in Composition Acoustic Calypso.

We assisted our client with our in-house CNC capabilities, to precision cut the acoustic panels to sit flush into the window and door extrusions.
